WPFC '95 White Win Diadora Cup
Boys U-13 White Top EFC White 1-0 in OT
From a sideline reporter with boys ’95 White: our boys ’95 White brought home the Diadora Cup as Champions for the boys U13 age group. The turf was quite hot for the final day. WPFC topped Norpoint Fire 1-0 in the semifinal, and the win put the boys into the finals vs. Eastside FC White. During the game our defense was strong and our offense was equally strong, but the team just couldn’t locate the net to finish the game. With the score at 0-0 after regulation, the match went into overtime. Less than a minute into the extra session, Garodd delivered the assist to Alex who sent a sweet golden shot into the back of the net for a 1-0 victory for WPFC.
