The WPFC 97 Black finished as finalists at the 16th annual Rainier Challenge held over Memorial Day weekend.  After going undefeated in group play with victories over Westsound 97 (6-0), Northwest Nationals 97 (2-1) and Crossfire 97 Black (4-0), the boys won a tough semifinal over GRFC 97 Blue (2-1) before losing to a strong Crossfire 97 James team in the final (0-5)
